Re: A small video problem

Has anyone tried running it through WinFF ? It is a GUI frontend for ffmpeg, which is pretty powerful. Maybe it can "overlook" the issues with this avi. I'd be happy to try it, but the link to the file was broken :frown: Cause it's been fixed. I don't have a copy anymore. Thanks anyway...

Re: A small video problem

I tried DivFix yesterday and it choked. Of course it could be the 64-bit problem.

At any rate, it's finished.

@Zippy - You're always welcome, of course :) If you have any future video issues, you know where to go now :D

Might as well. Whatever is easier.

Can you upload the fixed video to a free host site and I'll grab it and take a look?

Thanks a bunch. I'm sure Zippy will be happy ;)

Re: A small video problem

CAp, did you make sure the path the the file you are trying to edit is correct in the script? simple i know but it doesnt hurt to ask.. The path is correct. I've had strange resource clashes doing that......using a 64-bit application (VirtualDub) with a 32-bit resource (Avisynth). Also, is the...

Re: A small video problem

Don't know about AVIDemux. I don't have it. The file causes errors when trying to play through Media Player. It says it is searching for a solution, and then just hangs, as it always does  The improper size message is because it's the improper size. Several apps said the same thing, and did...

Re: A small video problem

Sorry I couldn't help with the video Wend.

Guys, Wend needs help with her AVI file. It's non-standard 640x479 and everything I have tried to resize or convert chokes on it, giving the error "Non-standard size".

Anyone know how to fix the file?

Re: A small video problem

I've seen some converted by Youtube and I wasn't happy with the quality. I've had better luck doing my own converting. Sometimes Youtube converts it even if it's already .flv

Re: A small video problem

Sure. I can run it through Virtual Dub or TMPGEnc Xpress to restore the size to standard, then through FLV Converter to put it into Youtube format. Upload the file to a free upload site and PM me the link. I'll take care of it for you, Wend ;) Here's a few you can try if you don't have one already:...

The episode was Masterpiece Society, I think.
