@Heywould I don't really know what the setting were. I used the 'preset' for FLV in the AviDemux encoder and i never changed from the default settings. :red: It was my first FLV. I wasn't able to open the file in AviSynth with neither AVISource() nor DirectShowSource(), I had to use the ...

As expected, i rotated the video at the resolution it read-in as, and Virtuadub crashed. Illegal resolution for the YV12 colorspace. This fixed it: DirectShowSource("hpim0271.avi") # Lanczos4Resize(640,480)# You cannot add odd numbers in YV12 colorspace. (AddBorders(...

As silly as it might sound, the old Japanese Avi encoder might work. I never could completely understand the workings of AviUtl , but every once in a while i tweak it a bit to see what would happen. Right now it's not the most comfortable encoder to use, nor is any of it's functions familiar. Th...

Option#1: What about a non-standard video editor? What happens when it's loaded into AviDemux? Option #2: If the file is playable through DirectShow, is there a way to force the video editor to read the file as Directshow? Will it render in Graphedit? I think that "improper size"...

Re: A small video problem

 Do you have to convert it to *.FLV and then upload it to YouTube, or does YouTube take care of compression & resolution?

Does it speed up the process of you convert it yourself?

I was wondering, myself, how the process worked.
